Thank you for choosing Shuffle Health. We are committed to helping clinicians explore meaningful new career paths beyond clinical practice. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds and cancellations are available for purchases made through our website and platform. By enrolling in or purchasing any Shuffle Health course, program, subscription, or service (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made directly from Shuffle Health, including:

  • Individual career path courses and curricula
  • Bundled or multi-path enrollments
  • Subscriptions and recurring memberships, where offered
  • Coaching, mentorship, and any add-on services purchased through Shuffle Health

Purchases made through third-party platforms, employers, or resellers are governed by the refund policies of those parties, and you should contact them directly for refund requests.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to feel confident in your decision to invest in your next career chapter. For one-time course purchases, Shuffle Health offers a 7-day money-back guarantee, subject to the conditions below.

Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if all of the following are true:

  • You request the refund within 7 calendar days of your original purchase date.
  • You have completed no more than 25% of the course content, as measured by lessons or modules marked complete in your account.
  • You have not downloaded, exported, or otherwise retained substantial proprietary materials, such as full PDF workbooks, templates, or recordings, for offline use.
  • Your account is in good standing and has not violated our Terms of Service.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under the money-back guarantee, email support@shufflehealth.com from the email address associated with your account. Please include:

  • Your full name and order number
  • The course or program you are requesting a refund for
  • A brief note about why the program was not a fit, optional but helpful for improving the service

We aim to respond within 3 business days and process approved refunds within 7-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

3. Non-Refundable Items and Situations

The following purchases and situations are not eligible for a refund:

  • Requests made more than 7 calendar days after the purchase date.
  • Courses where more than 25% of the content has been accessed or marked complete.
  • One-on-one coaching sessions, mentorship calls, or live workshops that have already been attended or scheduled within 48 hours of the session.
  • Downloadable resources, templates, or workbooks once they have been downloaded or exported.
  • Certifications, certificates of completion, or digital credentials that have already been issued.
  • Purchases made using promotional credits, gift cards, scholarships, or discount codes exceeding 50% off the standard price. These may be non-refundable or partially refundable; the offer terms will govern.
  • Accounts terminated by Shuffle Health for violation of our Terms of Service.

4. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

Where Shuffle Health offers subscription-based access, for example ongoing community access or curriculum updates, the following terms apply:

Cancellation

  • You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@shufflehealth.com.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time within a billing cycle.

Renewal Charges

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
  • If you are charged for a renewal and notify us within 7 days of the renewal date that you intended to cancel, we will, at our discretion, refund that renewal charge provided you have not used the Services during the new billing period.

5. Cancellation by Shuffle Health

In rare circumstances, Shuffle Health may discontinue a course, postpone a live cohort, or close enrollment in a program. If this affects you:

  • For self-paced courses that are discontinued before you have completed them, we will offer either continued access for a reasonable transition period, a comparable replacement course, or a prorated refund, at your choice.
  • For live cohorts or workshops that are cancelled by Shuffle Health and not rescheduled within 90 days, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that cohort.

Shuffle Health is not responsible for losses, expenses, or consequential damages beyond the amount you paid for the affected Service.

6. Special Circumstances

We understand that life happens. If you are facing exceptional circumstances, such as a serious medical issue, family emergency, or other significant hardship, that prevents you from using the Services, please contact us at support@shufflehealth.com. While these requests fall outside the standard policy, we review them individually and may offer extended access, a course transfer, or a partial refund at our discretion.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, please contact us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication. Unauthorized chargebacks, filed without first attempting to resolve the matter with us and without a legitimate basis, may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of access to any purchased content.

8. How Refunds Are Processed

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer; typical timelines are 5-10 business days after we initiate the refund.
  • Currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, and similar charges levied by your bank are not refundable by Shuffle Health.
  • Refunds will be issued in the original currency of the purchase.

9. Changes to This Policy

Shuffle Health may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. The current version will always be posted on our website with the Last Updated date. Changes apply only to purchases made on or after the new effective date; purchases made before any change are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
